The Encuentro is really getting close now, in just over two weeks we’ll be seeing each other (again)! We’re incredibly excited and can’t wait to dance, connect, and enjoy this special time together.

We’d like to share an unexpected update with you. A few days ago, we were informed that the organization from which we had rented our venue has gone bankrupt. Unfortunately, this means we can no longer use the location we had happily discovered last year.

A bit of a shock at first… but with the experience from last year, we quickly shifted into solution mode. And the good news is: La Cadena 2026 is definitely happening!

Given the short notice finding suitable alternatives was quite a challenge. Many venues were already fully or partially booked, but we believe we’ve found a wonderful solution. This year’s edition will take place across two great locations in Nijmegen:

Friday we’ll be hosted by El Corte, the oldest and largest tango school in Nijmegen (see: www.elcorte.com)
Saturday & Sunday we’ll dance at Salsa Típica, the oldest salsa school in Nijmegen (see: www.salsatipica.nl)

Since there is already a workshop scheduled on Saturday afternoon, we will start a bit later that day than originally planned.

We realize this is different from what was originally planned, but we are confident it will be a warm, vibrant, and unforgettable edition.
